Church Doctrine

  • We believe that the writing of the Old Testament and New Testament are verbally inspired of God without error in the original texts.  The Bible is the supreme and final authority in matters of faith and service. (2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalms 7:18 p.m.)

  • We believe in one eternal God existing in three persons; also omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:1, Matt 28:19, John 10:30, John 14:16)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ, born from the Virgin Mary, is truly God and man. He lived a perfect life, and He was put to death as a victim for our sins.  He is risen from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as high Priest and Advocate of believers. (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:35, 1 Peter 2:24)

  • We believe in the personal, physical and imminent return of Jesus Christ. The Church, which is His body, will be removed to meet Him in the air before the tribulation and before He comes to establish His millennial kingdom. (1 Thes. 4:13-18).

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person; who convicts man of sin. He has called those who believe in the Savior at the time of conversion, and made His home in the hearts of believers so that they live a victorious life over sin. He seals them unto the day of final redemption and gives them spiritual gifts; some as temporary as gifts of healing and speaking in tongues (John 16:7-15, Rom 8:9, 1 Cor 2:9-14, 1 Cor 6:9-20, 1 Cor 12:1-30, 1 Cor 13:8-11, 1 Cor 14:20-22, Eph 1:13-14)

  • We believe that Satan is real and he is a person. He is the enemy of God and man (Job 1:6-7). While he has power, he is not all powerful.

  • We believe that man was created innocent, though he voluntarily acts on sins. Both physical and spiritual death is extended to all men, who are completely incapable of saving themselves. He can only be saved and justified by faith and Christ’s sacrifice. (Rom 3:23, Acts 13:38-39).

  • We believe in the eternal security and well-being of the redeemed. (John 10:28-29, John 17:24, Rom 8:18).

  • We believe in eternal condemnation of the lost in the lake of fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels. (Mat 25:41, Revelation 20:11-15)

  • We believe that the Church, the body whose head is Christ, was founded on the day of Pentecost and is composed of all believers (since its foundation until the return of Christ in the air.) The Chruch as the wife of Christ, has the responsibility of glorifying in untiring efforts, seeking to make disciples of all nations (Eph 1:3-6, 22,23, 1 Cor 12:12-14, Matt 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:42-47)
